Fingerprint Bird Picture


An outline of a dove creates a canvas for a colorful fingerprint picture.  Busy kids happy mom uses a different color for each child and has them all work together to create the picture, but one child could do the photo as well switching up colors.

Paper Plate Birds and Nests

Happy National Bird Day.  To help celebrate below are some cute bird nest crafts for kids.



My city for kids folds a brown painted paper plate to make a pocket and stuffs it with little paper chickens and raffia.

Bird Nest Craft


Preschool playbook shows how to take a paper bag and some shredded raffia to create a birds nest.  She sticks birds made from colorful feathers and pompoms inside.
