Yarn Pumpkin Kids Craft



Pumpkins are wrapped in yarn and created with yarn with this fun Halloween pumpkins.



I can teach my child has a pumpkin craft using yarn and glue and paint. It looks like it may be difficult to get the right shape though, but still a lot of fun for the kids to make a mess then clean it up.

Naturally educational uses a balloon for their version.  Gluing the yarn on and popping the balloon when dried for a round three-dimensional pumpkin.  They top with a green pipe cleaner for the stem.

Plastic Bottle Pumpkins


Motherhood on a dime has a really easy craft for younger kids to make pumpkins.  Simply have them tear up orange paper and place into a clear plastic bottle.  Then glue on paper eyes and a mouth.

 My sisters suitcase blog uses Orange Crush and draws on the pumpkin face using a black marker.  She completes the look adding green pompoms to represent the stem.

Spider Candy Holder


Amazing preschool activities has a cute way to turn a paper plate, construction paper, yarn and glue into a spider candy holder.

Paper Plate Spider


I heart crafty things has a similar project but instead of making a candy holder she just makes a spider that can dangle.  Use the same tools, a paper plate, pipe cleaners and paint.  You can use markers to draw on a face instead.
