Easter Wool Lamb Kids Craft


Cotton balls make a great texture to add to kids Easter lamb crafts.  


Red ted art has a sheep activity with wool craft for kids that's great for Easter. It involves glue and cotton. You'll need to pre-cut the sheep and draw the face for kids.

Crystal Easter Egg Geodes

Make It:

Martha Stewart brings Easter eggs to a whole new level with her crystal egg geode craft project. It's more of a craft for older kids but the younger ones will love the results. It also takes a lot of unique and intricate ingredients such as alum powder.

Make a Little Chick from an Egg Carton


Egg cartons are repurposed to make this adorable Easter kids craft.



Be a fun mum has a cute and simple Easter craft making chicks out of an egg carton. All you need is an egg carton, feather and some markers.

One really fun activity to do with your kids prior to Easter is to plant them outside the day beforehand. Early Sunday morning replace them with colorful lollipops. The kids will think the jelly beans grew into the special treat overnight.

Egg shells make adorable plant and herb holders perfect for Easter.




Better homes and gardens has a cute way to repurpose and eggshell and make it into a mini planter. They recommend using flowers already blooming. Simply fill an eggshell that's 3/4 intact with soil and plant.

Plastic Egg Painting




Did you know that many plastic Easter eggs have holes in them at the top?  One great painting activity involving plastic eggs as vessels.  Fill the eggs with paint. Kids can either shake the paint out of the eggs or crack them open to release the paint. It's a fun activity for Easter and good for younger kids too.

Cascarones - Confetti Filled Eggs


Thought to bring good luck shower the kids with cascarones or give them a basket to shower each other with this fun kids craft and activity.  


Playing by the book has a great tutorial on how to make Cascarones - confetti filled eggs. This idea originated in Mexico where you would drop these eggs on someone to shower them with confetti.

Confetti Egg Game

Oh happy day has a fun confettit filled egg game. The secret is to fill one of the confetti eggs with gold confetti. Then all of the kids go around smashing eggs on each others heads. The one who gets hit with the golden egg is the winner.
