Puzzle Piece Autumn Trees


Puzzle pieces are painted red, orange and yellow to make the leaves for this fall tree from i heart crafty things.  She uses a paper brown bag to make the trunk and creates the bark by crinkling the paper.

Tissue Paper Trees

Felt Acorn Owls


A fun project for all of the acorns underneath the oak tree, bkids shows how to make an owl by gluing  tiny pieces of felt eyes, beaks and wings onto an acorn.  She also makes a felt tree branch for them to rest upon.

Egg Carton Math


Transform an egg carton into a cute math game with kids activity blog.  Simply write numbers into the bottom of each cup, place two buttons into the carton, close and shake.  Kids can then add, subtract and/or multiply the number for a fun way to practice math facts.
