Sponge Print Ghosts


A sponge cut to look like a ghost makes a super fun Halloween craft for the preschool set.  Family education has the kids dip the sponge in white paint and then start stamping black construction paper.  She then adds googly eyes to make them look more ghostly.

Coffee Filter Jack O'Lanterns


A paper cut out jack o'lantern is dressed up by pasting a colored coffee filter behind it.  Kids color the filter with markers and then the filter is spray painted with water to spread the color throughout the filter.  Visit kids activities blog for all of the details.

Bat Silhouettes


Kids can make a bat silhouette by painting black construction paper with a bat taped to the paper.  After the paint has dried simply remove the taped on bat to make these vampire bats for Halloween.

Chalk Dust Vampire Bats


A bat cut out, black paper and colored chalk are all that's needed to make these nifty bat silhouettes from it's all kids play.  Simply color the bat with lots of chalk.  Next place it onto a black piece of construction paper and brush the chalk from the bat tot he paper to make the outline.

Cheesecloth Ghosts


Cheesecloth is given an eerie appearance with olive and love's ghost craft.  She uses a styrofoam ball for the head and paints on black eyes.

Halloween Treat Containers


Toilet paper tubes are painted and given a face of a pumpkin, cat or ghost with homemade mamas.
