Painted Flower Pot

A terra cotta pot is painted with one artsy mama.  She first paints the entire pot and then uses a toilet paper tube to make different color circles.  After the pots dry the kids can then plant flowers in them.

Egg Carton Ladybugs

Egg carton cups make the perfect size body for ladybugs.  Crafts by amanda paints the cartons, glues on a pompom and a pipe cleaner and googly eyes.

Good for ages 6 and up.

Get the instructions here:
http://craftsbyamanda.com/posts/

Cut out one section of the egg carton for the ladybug's body and paint it completely in a vibrant ladybug color.  Cut six tiny pipe cleaner pieces and glue them on as legs inside the egg carton container and secure them with tape.  You can bend the pipe cleaners so the ladybugs will stand up on their own.  Next, add googly eyes and antennae.
