Plastic Bag Butterflies

Busy bee kids crafts has a similar project to the paper napkin using a plastic zip lock bag. Kids fill the bags up with crumpled pieces of construction paper, tissue paper would work well too and tie them up with a pipe cleaner.

Seed Paper Bookmarks

You can reuse theses seed paper bookmarks by planting them into the ground and watching them grow into a plant or flower.  One batch can make many bookmarks to give as gifts or put in all of your favorite books or just plant.

Good for ages 8 and up.

Use copy paper, construction paper, or even newspaper to make these bookmarks.  All safe, compostable materials.  Flower seeds, herb seeds, dried herbs, and even flower petals look the prettiest in the paper.

To plant, just tear into a few pieces or plant the whole thing right into the ground.
