Homemade Yarn Valentines








Disney's Family Fun has a cute idea for valentines made from yarn.  Your kids will love getting messy the yarn.  All you need is some cornstarch glue, yarn and a heart shaped cookie cutter.

Lace Up Yarn Valentines



Parents also has a yarn valentine. Using a punched out heart, kids can lace yarn through the holes to make a cute valentine's day card.

Stuffed Heart Valentines


MM scrap shoppe has a tutorial on how to make stamped and stuffed paper heart valentines which can easily be adapted for younger kids just using either regular paper or felt or pre-stamped and cut hearts.

Flower Seed Valentines


Disney's family fun has a unique idea for valentines using a packet of flower seeds and a cut out of a pot to make an envelope.

Lollipop Flower Pot Valentines



Kathyorta has a video tutorial for how to make flower pots using a lollipop as the flower that makes for a great valentine.

Good for ages 9 and up.

Valentine Crayon Hearts


Disney's Family Fun site shows an easy way to make your own crayons.  Simply chop various crayons into little pieces, place them into a mold and bake.  You can even plan the color combinations by using complementary colors, such as a pink, red and white crayon heart.
