Fish Wind Sock



The crafty classroom shares the Japanese holiday of Kodomo no Hi, also known as Children's' Day.  According to the site the traditional decorations are large carp streamer windsocks. The idea is because carp swim upstream they are considered to be strong and lucky something parents want their children to be as well.

Good for ages 6 and up.
