DIY Duct Tape Drum
Unschool me has a duct tape drum tutorial using a form tube, but you could also probably use an ice cream container from the local ice cream shop.

DIY Oatmeal Container Drum
Serving pink lemonade has a cute idea for how to make a quick and easy drum. Strip an oatmeal canister of it's lining, add a chevron strip and attach a ribbon, take 2 unsharpened pencils and then you have it.

Paper Airplane Art
The domestic project has a cute idea for how to turn paper airplanes into art work. Kids could easily make a modified version using just paper airplanes and tape for the flight patterns. It's a great way to save some of the many paper airplanes that get made.

DIY Soup Can Drum
Kids activity blog shares how to make a drum from a metal can, tape, and balloons. Make sure to tape the cans really well for sharp edges.

Envelope Houses
Camilla engman has a unique idea for creating what she calls a suburb using various envelops and drawing them into a neighborhood of houses. She uses pencil for her drawings but kids can use a variety of colors to make their own.
