Patriotic Ribbon Sparklers


Merriment design turns chopsticks and shiny red, white and blue ribbon into fun safe "sparklers" for kids to shake during the Fourth of July.

Toilet Paper Roll Kaleidoscope


Multiples and more upcycles a toilet paper roll and paper towel roll and brings on the fireworks by turning them into a great kaleidoscope in honor of the fourth July. The directions also call for mirrored paper, a plastic cup and felt.

Firework Spinning Tops


Teleytaiothranio turns a CD into a firework display using red and blue markers and white labels.  She glues on a bottle cap so the CDs can spin.

Red White and Blue Straw Necklaces



The experimental home cuts red and white and blue and white diagonal striped straws and threads them onto rope, tying knots between each straw piece.  She calls them firework necklaces.
