Paper Plate Lacing Cards

Joyful mamas place has an inventive way to create lacing cards for kids.  It involves a little set up though of cutting notches out of a paper plate and threading the plate with yard for the kids to sew through, but makes a great fine motor activity.  She suggests using a wooden needle but you could also just add some nailpolish to the yarn's end to make it more like a shoe string.

Good for ages 3 and up.
